Artist's Description
Many times in our lives, we encounter things that may put obstacles in our way. Ever notice that no matter how many times you tie, prop, weave wire around or fence nature in, it always finds a way to break through? This colorful array of flowers in yellow, pink, purple, blue, orange, red and white pushing their way through a white picket fence represents the power of light. Every day, nature reaches for the source that gives it strength. Maybe we can learn a lesson from Mother Nature. Find your source, hold onto it, give thanks every day and watch what beautiful things come to life.
About Celeste Manning
I am a self taught artist. From early on, I have been involved with creating things. I could never have a blank piece of paper in front of me without doodling, drawing, coloring, marking or painting on it. I love color and everything you can do with it. I have no particular medium that I prefer most. I create what I feel. Art, to me, is what comes from the soul. If you can create from your soul, you have presented to the world what makes you happy. Hopefully, that happiness will make someone else smile. In past years, I have also dabbled in writing children stories, but the art bug bit and hasn't let go.
